In Poland most universities offer two intakes. The fall semester runs from October through mid-February and the spring semester runs from mid-February to end of the June. The deadlines for most of the universities are in July and august for fall semester and January for spring semester.

Although Poland is going through a process of rapid economic development, the cost of living is still significantly lower than in most of the EU countries. Around 500 euros per month is average living cost in Poland which is enough to cover accommodation, transport and food.

There are many possibilities to get settled in Poland after completion of study. Professionals can apply for a Blue card once they find an employer. This is valid for 2-3 years and the person can work all over European Union. After 5 years you can apply for Permanent Residence option.
